These lines are considering the realistic story of the journeys to the prisons in Egypt to make all the members of the Jamaa understand the initiative. It is a part and a parcel for working the real meaning of the initiative. It deserves to be on our site on the internet.

Our wanders started with Al-Wadi El-Gedid prison and finished after 10 months in Damanhour prison. Through those wanders the torrent of feelings was going on to water the relation ships land between the members of the Jamaa and us. It got its fruits in the hearts of all of us. The meetings were impressive after being separated for more than 20 years approximately.

I cannot describe the wonderful meeting we had or describe the love tears, which shed during them or during the moments of “Farewell”. Now you will live with us inside the prison but in your minds only, your bodies will be free.

How did our Brother receive the news of our arrival inside the prison? How did they receive the initiative? How did they think? These questions will be answered in this section, so get ready.

Here, I chose three examples from our wanders inside the prisons. I started with Al-Wadi El-Gedid prison as being the beginning of rainfall after a long drought. Then we came to Al-Fayoum prison as being a torrent of memories and pains. Finally, we came to the journey to abbe Zaabal prison as being the transfer from the highest point of the calamity to the beginning of good tidings. The final celebrations were on of the best topics of our journeys. They were held in different prisons, which were guarded well like Al-Aqrab and the celebration of Damanhour prison, which were given to you in full details.

In fact, I would like to present my admiration and respect to the big efforts, which were exerted to make the meetings successful in Torah prison. That reception prison includes a big theatre included in its buildings, so the administration of the prison decorated it well and renewed it so as to look better. They put the chairs in rows in a good way. They put a big table on its stage to help the scholars and the leaders lecture the members of the Jamaa.

They also tried hard to remove all obstacles which might hinder us to hold those meetings. Our Brothers received us warmly that we had not ever been met like that before. It started at the gates of the prison when we were received by a rhyme, which still has its echo in our minds. The final celebration was fantastic, especially the word which Brother Ayman Khamies recited on behalf of the Brother of Cairo. He said: - “Our leaders and scholars.

I do not think of my words to be enough to express your position inside our hearts. Or express our gratitude to you. But on behalf of my Brothers and my self I would like to present my regards and our love to you. I fully trust you and I hope that Allah may gather us in better conditions in the life and in the paradise in the Hereafter. I want to assure you that we are all convinced withy the initiative for the sake of Islam and our beloved Egypt.

My tears were shed while listening to the rhyme which expressed the time of saying “Goodbye”.

The rhyme was expressing the idea of gathering again in better conditions.

Finally, we ask Allah to reward all those who helped us the best reward. In Wadi Al-Natroon prison, a very important thing happened which I will tell you without beautifying. It was the media covering which Mr. Makram Muhammad Ahmed did; He was the editing chief of Al-Mossawer Magazine.

He covered through media the conferences, which were held in that prison which was published in its publication on 28/6/2002.

The story began when Mr. Makram had a look on our four books, which we issued. He expressed his desire to meet us to make interviews with us- at that moment we were taken to AL-Natroon prison, so we came back to Al-Aqrab prison quickly to meet him.

We told him that conferences were being held at that time in various prisons to make the feedback’s and talk with each other among the members of the Jamaa. We also told him that he could see them himself. Brother Safwat Abdel-Ghani invited him to attend one of those interviews. He accepted the invitation and promised to be between the attendants on the following Monday at Wadi-Al-Natroon prison (2).

Actually he attended the meetings on the first day at the prison. As soon as Mr. Makram had arrived, his men began to take photos and records of the meetings. He was keen on being the attendants to take their impressions. And Sheikh Kara was very keen on greeting him and praising his long history in the field of press and that the Jamaa respects him too much.

Mr. Makram heard what he wanted to hear from the feedbacks of the members of the Jamaa. He kept listening to the comments of the embers of the Jamaa especially on the mistakes they made in the previous periods. He asked his men what was the feeling of those members of the Jamaa after they had spent their most beautiful days in prison, then they found themselves mistaken.

He wanted to see by himself the reaction of the leaders’ talk on their followers, so he wrote a paper from his place to Sheikh Karam to give the opportunity to the members to ask their leaders. As a response, Sheikh Karam did it and asked them to get to the table if they had any inquiries. There was a torrent of questions. Although most of those inquiries were embarrassing, we were able to answer them by the help of Allah. At that moment, Mr. Makram was sure that we had the courage and the obility to face them and correct our mistakes.

Mr. Makram spoke well about that in his magazine and in his book entitled “A conspiracy or an Initiative”.
