In the Name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Praise be to Allah and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger. Allah says, "But if they seek help from you in the matter of religion then it is your duty to help (them)", Al-Anfal 72.

A respected Muslim scholar has been imprisoned in the USA since 1993.

His crime was that he said Allah is my God. He is there lonely and sick hopes in the mercy of his Lord.

We appeal to every sincere Muslim to pray for Sheikh Abdul Rahman that Allah may free him and release his pains.

We appeal to President Mubarak to ask President Obama return Sheikh Abdul Rahman to his family and country as a gesture of goodwill toward Muslim scholars.

We appeal to Dr. Al Taeb, head of Al Azhar, to put the Sheik's case on his agenda, especially that Dr. Abdul Rahman is an Azhari scholar in distress for the cause of Allah.

We appeal to Sheikh Al Qaradawy to resume his efforts to set him free.

We appeal to the media to remember the case of the blind sheikh.

We appeal to every Egyptian, Arab and international Human Rights organization to open the file of sheikh Abdurrahman and to mention him in their periodical reports as a rare humanitarian case that is exposed to extraordinary pressures in the US prisons.

The 72-year-old blind sheikh has been held incommunicado for 17 years. He suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure and sensitivity of the chest. Add to that he lost the feeling in his legs 8 years ago.

We appeal to President Obama to take an urgent decision to expel Sheikh Abdul Rahman to Egypt as a gesture of goodwill toward the Islamic world. And we are sure that such a step can bring back the image of the US as the world human rights defender.

Whoever wants to share in this campaign, please contact Sheikh Abdul Rahman's family on,
